http://homepage.mac.com/davidrokeby/cloud.html This work is related to our project in that the changing material creates an ephemeral image that avoids the viewers' gaze. When the elements are in sync they form a coherent image, but only for a brief moment before they fall out of sync and the image vanishes.
http://www.marnixdenijs.nl/beijing-accelerator.htm In this piece, the viewer must manipulate a joystick to match the speed and direction of the spinning chair in which he is seated with the moving panoramic images on the screen in front of him. Until this is achieved, the viewer is disoriented (and probably nauseous). Once this has been achieved, the images sync up with with the movement of the chair for a short while, then move faster and fall out of sync, and the viewer must try to catch up again. Like our project, this piece plays with the experience of frustration.

I like that the work is simple, but it digs deeper even though this more is for more aesthetic reasons than naught.
