final project, more progress
Here is a photo of one of the branches I've made, out of wire with patina'd copper foil leaves. That took hours and hours, just so you know. Each leaf is soldered to its twig, with three to five leaves twisted and soldered together, and then five to seven clusters to a branch. They tremble when moved, rather like aspen leaves, and they make a musical twinkling noise rather like wind chimes.
Here is a video showing the seven servo motors with their seven photocells on the arduino mega.
I still have to mount the branches on the motors, drill holes in the pot for the photocells and power cord, somehow get everything in the pot in an ordered way, and tweak the code.
