Final Project & David Lynch

Another connection/inspiration for my final project development came from a scene in the David Lynch Film Twin Peaks. The scene questions our dependence on surveillance cameras to provide a record of actual events. The scene is difficult to describe but basically a glitch in a surveillance recording causes the protagonist to re-examine reality according to a surveillance video showing an impossible event. This effect, unnerving failure in the actions of a trusted source of information, is something I wanted to happen within viewers who approached my project. Again, the scene is so truly bizarre that one must watch the scene to understand the strangeness for which I could only attempted.
