Human Interactions/Observations

So many of these seem self apparent because we are so used to people interacting with machines.

Phones and laptops are a part of life for nearly everyone. So are typical appliances...

Tapping buttons, turning dials, touching screens, talking into microphones, staring at camera lens, listening to sound, oh and

waiting

people wait for machines a lot. Loading screens, download times, warmups and such.

Fixing them... the AC unit next to my apartment (its for the other unit but it's next to my window) broke... made this hideous, grating noises all Saturday night and sunday until someone could get out here to fix it. Lovely.

The only sense machines don't engage on a daily basis, really, is smell. But humans have a very poor sense of smell, so why should they? It makes sense that we invented the camera, to record and play back visuals... dogs would have invented some kind of scent capture, i'm sure of it. Machines reflect our own bodies more than we assume.

Well other than the broken AC unit nothing unusual happened with machines this weekend.
