security: Curfews
We were exploring the medium of
restrictions(distance) and voice(sound).
We looked into options around home security and thought about curfews
and forms of "grounding", when you are not allowed to touch, do
certain things, or go outside. Its about
when one is left alone and is more of a conscious than physical reaction.
Things that go inside ones head when they are set out rules, whether they
follow these rules that exist simply in the mind rather than physical forms.
Will these restrictions set on a person that only they know they have
restrictions of; will they keep one from interacting and doing other wise when
noone else knows?
As the audience, we observe and watch
this one individual as they go about doing what they do, scrutinizing them.
Will this action pressure the individual to break the rules or apply to them?
Comments. class opinions
-repeating actions? should the voice stop?
-ideas of whether this will get boring quickly or not?
-record the actions?
-should there be ridiculous curfews and restrictions in every turn an individual makes? or should it be -limited, simple and realistic?
-should we have restrictions that are opposite of curfew, encouraging unsafe actions?
