Reading.

An interesting read, making a statement about technology being good and bad. Technology running the house and being a convenience yet also being the reason that the people were all dead, atomic weaponry or nuclear war. This was obviously written from a 1950's perspective when the fear of bombs was so great. The house being the last remains of technology clinging to life and then being destroyed by the flames in the end. When civilization falls to its grave, technology throws in the dirt.
