Erin | Take something apart and map it

Singing greeting card.

Usually I'm horrified by these things, but maybe they can be redeemed.

1. Greeting card. Tab interrupted contact switch. Sings song (speaker, audio file)

2. Greeting card. Sings song, colored lights up in beat with music (fiber optic?)

3. Greeting card. Gives intro on how to record. Record button, mic, & short message to user (3sec space). Plays song back once inserting recording. and deletes, unless you pull tab to interrupt circuit. Plays song with insert unless circuit reintroduced, or rerecorded by pressing button.

How can the audio file be replaced?
Can the recorder be induced to record longer?

At the very least, the components are still interesting.
