Ta-da! Yay the first two lessons are finished! The thing I was most confused about was why only pin 13 would light up, but I soon found that's because it's the only one that can light up by default. The set-ups on these contraptions are a lot less complicated than they look, although I am sure I will have my share of confusion when we start wiring up the breadboards.
Also, those tutorials are trying to teach processing AS WELL AS the Ardunio interface, which is pretty much a nightmare. I am very glad I have basic processing/programing knowledge, even if i'm rubbish at it. The basic Ardunio programs don't bother me at all.
