The only experiences I think I've really had with circuits and electronics was in a Technology class that I took years ago, and in my senior year of physics. They weren't really computer related so much as they were ways of studying electricity and circuits, so it all came down to finding ways to make the lightbulb turn on. I also have some basic (really basic) programming skills, which I imagine does deal with inputs and outputs on the computer, in a less physical way.
That's really the only sort of "tinkering" I've done with electronics. Beyond that, I've dealt with different electronic devices that can be plugged into a computer such as tablets, cameras...etc, and have used more practical ones like gps devices, thermometers, pluviometers...
Then there's the computer itself, as well as TV, gaming engines, kitchen appliances(?)—
......So I guess I DO have some experience with electronics, but it's all pretty much in the practical use of them, rather than having an understanding of how they actually work, and why they work.
