When it comes to the interactions of people between one another, the environment, and machines, there is never one correct answer because everyone reacts to everything differently. People react to each other dependent on personality. If two people have similar personalities, they get along better even if it is not quite so visible to others around them. However, it is possible for people with different personalities to get along as well. There is the old saying "opposites attract" but in the case of people interacting with other people, we're like water, we attract as well as repel both like and opposite personalities.
People interact with the environment in a much more harsh manor. We treat the environment like just another thing in the world that is meant to succumb to the will of man. We pollute it, we burn it, we overuse it, we copy it, we try to create our own, we try to protect it, but most importantly overall, most of us don't even care about it. I think that people need to treat the environment more like people. People already kill the environment,so maybe people can also treat it with respect.
The interaction between people and machines is unique. We, being the creators of machines seek more and more to make machines like ourselves and in some way more independent of the necessity of our interaction to accomplish our goals. This is the reason for the sic-fi phenomenon of machine Armageddon. People want smarter machines that know what we want and also don't break as easily. People often get frustrated with machines that are by far much more efficient and complex than machines of the past simply because they are no performing their task in as timely or efficiently as manor as we seek through our instant gratification lust.
