There Will Come Soft Rains
This Bradbury short story tells a futuristic tale of a house existing long after the passing of its owners and its futile attempts to sustain itself and its late tenants. The house is rigged with many different sorts of robots and mechanisms that were once meant to aid the family who lived there in their every day lives. Despite their sad passing (in likely some sort of devastating blast from a nuclear war or apocalyptic occurrence which can be inferred from the bit about their images being the only things left upon a wall that is otherwise covered in charcoal,) the house still functions feebly. The poem read by a robotic voice to the nonexistent Mrs. McClellan mimics the state of the house; it talks about how nature would always come back to life and continue to exist after war or catastrophe. The house was like nature in a sense, still existing in some broken fashion despite being nearly destroyed in the fire.
Principles of Electricity, Electronic Tools, Breadboard Video
The Principles of Electricity videos were really informative, if not a bit theatrical. It's been a long time since I've learned about electrons and charge and current so this is a nice refresher. Also I was really grateful for the explanations in the Tools and Breadboard video; they cleared a lot of my questions up.
