Midterm Reflection

After numerous complications with the LED matrix not working, it was great finally being able to have it working and displaying a vast amount of text (was limited to 28 characters at first with the normal arduino) was even better. Our display of the box was simple and with people suggestions during critic it was a good insight into what else we could have done with the display since after we constructed it we thought about this 'old phone' look or involving a larger more noticeable microphone, but the one we had we couldnt get to work. At first it was difficult to settle on the actual written text that was going to be displayed but once we got into the conversation about the introvert vs extrovert the text became like a conversational situation, so that this object was able to be crude or expressive to a individual. There was many other helpful ideas talked about during critic about what we could of done with the text or how we could have pushed it to a farther taunting extreme level. Which would have added an additional layer to the project. We did run into the problem when testing the mic it worked but when hung on the wall it seemed to not pick up the volume as well.
