This first art piece by the group, Breakfast, had my jaw drop. This was a promotional work for TNT's show, Perception. As people interact with the piece, 44,000 dots (...literal dots) are influenced by electromagnets to recreate an image of the passing individuals. The individuals mirrored image is capable of interacting with the rest of the dots on the screen. Through the beautiful chaos of the interaction, displayed text is seemingly shattered into raining dots. A closer look reveals that these individual dots are simply being flipped. That this group of artists and creators is capable of creating such genius...makes me want to re-evaluate my mindset when it comes to this sensors course.
