Process 1.3

I was brainstorming some things people desire that aren’t necessarily sexual, but are what people desire:

food
sleep
money
freedoms
knowledge
travel
pets
drugs
to relax or have fun or have free time
when you’re young, you desire to grow up
when you’re old, you desire to be young again
desire what you can’t have
achieve general goals - school, career, marriage, family/children, retire
win the lottery
material things - cars, shoes, clothes, house, tvs, pool
emotional things - happiness, validation, recognition, success, have a good life

What is good anyway? What really makes up having a good life? Everyone has their own opinion and measure of how well they’re doing and you could never measure your life against someone else’s standards and use that as a way to decide whether or not *you’re* happy.

By denying people from seeing images in your work, also plays upon the desire of the artist to get recognition. How does this affect the artist in this situation?
