Process 1.1

General idea we came up with that we will formulate into a formal proposal presentation:

Proposing the overall concept of desire, of wanting something, wanting clarification. With the viewer not realizing it wouldn’t be clear of what they were looking at or wanting until they walked away.

Making something desirable, but also playing off of a negative take on that. How does that person feel when they don’t get what they want? Are they willing to keep going?

Proposing a piece made up of a light box, illuminating an image. The lights in the light box are controlled by a proximity sensor: the lights are fully illuminated when the viewer is not within range.

Draw the viewer in with a detailed image, but with the way of the proximity sensor, the image will get dimmer the closer the viewer gets to it. Eventually this renders the image unviewable when the viewer gets directly in front of the light box.
