This project is the communication between two language Farsi and English through human interaction. I selected two specific words with same meaning and some common words and almost same pronunciation. I try to encourage audience to see the differences and similarities between two completely different languages. The project shows the word Mother and then Madar by faring and closing distance the hand move to proximity sensor. The artwork is like a translation box that translate two specific words which are very similar to each other at the same time. This piece has 32x64RGB LED Matrix which can show the lights with shapes or words. The words will appear with different color. The background of LED in the box was designed by the pattern of Mother word in Farsi font. It causes audience encourage to come closer and can read the small word in matrix design that is very close to design of LED matrix. In general the art work shows the whole one LED which is consist of printed and real LED matrix. My goal is that using human interaction to show different cultures and language.

Final process project and Fritzing, Setareh Ghoreishi
I designed graphic matrix and typed word of Mother with Farsi alphabet and made a pattern as if you have both printed and real LED matrix. When audience come closer they can read the words too.
At the final, I could make the space and matrix smaller to have more space and can use Aurdino Uno instead of Auridno Mega and adaptor. Hopefully it worked with IR sensor too.

We are not sure if this is working correctly. With the serial monitor, the temperature only went up one degree when I placed my fingers on it. We don't know exactly how sensitive it is supposed to be, so placing our fingers on it doesn't seem to make it light more than one LED. We unplugged and replugged in all of the components, switched shift registers, and temperature sensors and made two different circuit boards. This is the best we could get out of it.

Skycraft Scavenger hunt
Skycraft Scavenger Hunt 20 points
Please take a picture of each item on the scavenger hunt using your phone. You may work in pairs. You need also to take some notes getting serial numbers and label text so that you can learn more about the item and its specs when you get home. Post small sized pictures and text describing objects on blog. I need enough information to know what it is. Have fun!
Please locate 4 different kinds of LEDs. Look up the voltage and amp specs for each. 2 points
