mid-term

so - first attempt problem solved - did not wire the switches correctly for continuity

with help from Rob - found proper switch continuity on the second camera - soldered and switches are working - both power and shutter

Next day - the power switch had shorted out - I have no idea why - but when hook up to arduino with the camera powered on the shutter does work - some progress

got a third camera - wired the same as the second

continuity is checking out after reassembling the body of the camera

after modifying the way I hooked up from diagram provided - the camera will power on - but not take a photo - the camera turns off instead of taking a photo

then the solders snapped off! so thanks Orlando for the pin modification idea - hopefully this set-up will be a little more sturdy

After going home to brush up the code - now the shutter switch is not working - meaning that even by manually depressing the touch button the shutter will not fire - that is what happened with the red camera but it was the power button
