Second Set

Here are the 5 layers of materials that went in to constructing the collar.  I had to put them together backwards and flip them out in order to make a collar that had a "seamless" look on the edges.

This is the collar after it has been flipped out.  The four light blue loops are used as button holes to hold up the dress.  Needless to say they needed to be the strongest stitch in all of the dress as these support its entire weight.

Here is the bottom part of the dress (with the three layers pulled back).  The hem was the last part that I wanted to work on because I wanted to finish constructing all the other parts of the dress before installing the LEDs and I needed a way to put them underneath the 2 layers of organza but above the lining.

This is one of the seams that I made.  The entire dress was constructed inside out and then flipped in order to minimize the amount of visible seam works.

This is the dress without the collar attached.  It looks so large because the fabric will be folded some when worn.
