3 Artists

I always have a desire to make an art installation that can connect two languages together, or show the similarities and differences between languages. Finding some artists who work with typography and interactive art installation
is very good inspiration and helping that how can I use interaction design for connecting people to two different languages.

Rachel Stomel
“The installation consists of a dark room in which the user wanders, triggering a series of audio-visual experiences based on his location, speed, and proximity to other people in the room. Three walls of the room are made of giant screens, which are connected to 24 pressure-sensitive spots on the floor. Each interactive point on the floor activates a different corresponding display on the screen as well as a distinct sound over the 6 speakers throughout the room. Depending on the order and speed in which the points are activated, the visual display appearing on the screens and the auditory experience created is unique each time.” https://contemporarytypo.wordpress.com/researches/

This art installation is based on waving gesture to interact with movement of typography. The words are moved on curvy line based on the user’s position hand.

NOTA BENE
NOTA BENE Visual is a multi-disciplinary studio
“A text discussing about the threshold on ethics and morality was looping on the floor, people who step on the typographic area to read it, realize them selves on the wall and the interaction process starts.
