Manga pg.36-80

1. Static elecrity
When static electricity happens when there is a imblamnace of electrical charges within the surface of a material.

2. Contrast the speed of an electron with the speed of electrical motion in one sentence.
When an electron moves through a conductive material the process and time it takes to reach a destination is much faster then the speed of electrical motion is much slower since it can be either postive or negative.

3. Briefly explain the relationship between resistance and energy. Use an example from your house.
When there is a resistance applied to a circuit it limits the amount of enegery applied to the different componets. When a Led that is connected to lets say 5 volts that does not have the proper reistance  the enegry of the current will trun into heat and either light the led or burn out the bulb. Since volts is may to much energyfor the led you have to shortne the power supply to properly light the led.

4. What is the difference in AC and DC current? Give and example of each from your daily life. If you get shocked,

AC is alternating current and  DCstands for direct current.
AC current is a current that has either a negative or a postive end like a battery
DC curret is in constant flowing direction which would be like the negery that is used to light house that come from a power plant.

5. Determine the equivalent resistance of a 6.0 Ω and a 8.0 Ω resistor if …
The math to calcuate this question would be to add both equivalents
6.0 + 8.0 = 14.0 ohms
