8/26 Lesson 3- breadboards and LEDs

Run one wire (red) to the 5V socket on the Arduino. Run the other wire (black) to one of the GND sockets on the Arduino.

instead of connecting the resistor to +5V power, we'll connect it to ground. (nothing happens.  no power source and the current isn't flowing)

running blink sketch

running on a different pin (pin12 instead of 13 like orignal)

adding more LEDs to the party

blinking on differently

both LEDs are on for 500 ms, then only the red LED is on for 500 ms, then both LEDs are off, and finally only the green LED is on for 500 ms

added blue pin back in and they're all playing nice and blinking together

Colored light Violet, turquoise, and yellow

color changing light - red, yellow, green, turquoise, blue, violet, and back to red

disco!
(made a paper box to help see the changing colors...it sort of works)
