How Does It Work:
Basically, you slather some paint on something, and suddenly you have a black ink sensor! You can use a wire to connect the painted area to your arduino's I/O ports, and from there the painted area will act as a button, performing whatever function the I/O port has been programmed to do. Here is a video of the conductive paint in action, posted by its inventors: https://youtu.be/dKFRweXei90
The sensor is used for a wide variety of things, since it basically takes the function of a button or proximity sensor. For my project, I intend to play with the idea of intimacy and connection, and the conductive paint will hopefully play a prominent role as a replacement for a proximity sensor.
