TOm Igoe article

I liked this idea particularly because he seems to remind me of one of my professors, Jack Stenner. His philosophy that letting students run wild and then finding a piece of technology that works best with their concept. I feel that, similar to Tom, ideas flow the best when you come up with an experimental idea and then worry about how to actually make that process happen later. With sensors, I feel that I'm having difficulty coming up with an idea first as opposed to trying to figure out what I can actually within my realm of knowledge about Arduino. It was cool that he mentioned Dance Revolution to be one of the best embodiments of physical computing. I never thought of it's interface or how it was actually constructed. I kind of wonder how Tom found his way into being halfway between an engineer and artist, even though he doesn't consider himself to be one.
